I’m a Web Developer

More than 9 years of experience…

I started my career as a web developer in 2014. Since then, I’ve created PHP applications using the CodeIgniter framework and websites using WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal. Also, eCommerce solutions, using WooCommerce and Magento. I love to share ideas, learn new technologies and new technics. Also, I believe that each project is a unique experience, and a clear communication is the key for success.

What I do

WordPress

WordPress is one of the most used content management systems in the world. According to searchenginejournal.com, in 2021 WordPress powers 39.5% of all websites on the web. I have been working with WordPress since 2014, besides of creating full websites, I’ve developed plugins, made theme customizations, created payment methods for WooCommerce and I had projects where I worked with WordPress native REST API.

PHP CodeIgniter Framework

Although CodeIgniter has a very small footprint, it’s one of the most lightweight solutions that follows MVC structure, that allows you to create full-featured web applications. I worked with CodeIgniter on three projects where it was needed a custom PHP application. The projects where I used CodeIgniter were: a lawyer’s company, a dental prosthesis laboratory and an engineering consultant company.

Linux Server

I have experience with Ubuntu Server and CentOS Server. I used cloud platforms, such as Linode and Hetzner, to install and configure web servers (apache2 and nginx), MariaDB and PHP. Furthermore, I also installed Web Panel for the server management.

Languages and Other Technologies

Aside of HTML, CSS (following BEM Structure), SASS, JS (vanilla and the jQuery library) and PHP, at the beginning of my career I created desktop applications using the Windows Forms Language VisualBasic.NET. I worked with Microsoft Technologies such as Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). There are also projects where I worked with other open source content management systems such as Joomla (in two projects), Drupal (in one project), PrestaShop (in one project) and Magento (in two projects).
